A pub landlord shot his partner in the back of the head, left her body in a freezer and he carried on with life as normal, a court heard today.
Michael Tucker, 50, even had sex with another woman upstairs in the pub while his partner’s body lay in the chest freezer in a nearby outbuilding, Norwich Crown Court was told.
Tucker, landlord of The Compasses Inn in Snettisham, Norfolk, is accused of shooting Rebecca Thorpe in the back of the head while she was taking a bath in March last year.
He told police he lost his temper when the 29 year old said he could not see his children and that she was sleeping with another man.
