Mr Campbell spent 11 years behind bars after police ‘stitched him up’ for the murder of a shopkeeper in Hackney, north-east London, in 1990.
There was no forensic evidence linking him to the scene and, standing at six foot three inches, he is considerably taller than the pair of robbers who witnesses saw fleeing the shop.
