★ Bilderberg Group & Bilderbergers

Yes, we can elect our leaders but you can’t select your leaders.  You don’t select anyone.  Your masters who own you will select who will run.  That’s all they want to know: which one do you like best.  ibid.  Jordan Maxwell

Bilderberg is not just an important place for global financiers and politicians and those who are in the realm of geo-political events, it’s also a very important convergence for technology  and that is reflected by its regular attendance from among the Silicon Valley elite who are now heavily represented on Bilderberg’s steering committee.  Truthstream Media: Bilderberg and the Digital New World Order, 2018

Black limousines and darkened windows converged on a hotel where private security guards imposed iron-clad control.  The limos carried royalty, political power brokers, and industrial titans to a secret meeting that will last all weekend.  It’s known as the Bilderberg group.  Could their objective be world domination?  From Bilderberg to Bohemian Grove, EyezOpenWide, 2016 Youtube 1.21.26

‘I think they’re at a very pivotal stage in their globalist plans.  Certainly with fifteen topics they’re trying to cover a lot of ground in the notoriously short amount of time they spend in each meeting.’  ibid.  Mark Anderson, journalist

Very sophisticated organs do exist whereby these capitalist interests can and do hammer out common lines of strategy.  Bilderberg is one of these mechanisms.  Mike Peters, The Bilderberg Group and the Project for European Unification

It’s one of the most secretive and powerful organisations you’ve probably never heard of.  The Bilderberg Group is hosting some of the world’s top business people and political leaders in Dresden.  But how influential is it?  And what does it say about the relationship between big business and politicians?  Inside Story: How Powerful is the Bilderberg Group?  Al Jazeera TV 2016

It’s a forum held every year where the rich and the powerful can meet and exchange ideas in complete secrecy.  ibid.

The Bilderberg group, an elite coterie of Western thinkers and power-brokers, has been accused of fixing the fate of the world behind closed doors.  Not a word of what is said at Bilderberg Group meetings can be breathed outside.  Meetings often feature future political leaders shortly before they become household names.  Bill Clinton went in 1991 while still governor of Arkansas, Tony Blair was there two years later while still an opposition MP.  Private networks like Bilderberg have helped to oil the wheels of global politics and globalisation for the past half a century.  BBC News online article 3rd June 2004, cited Want To Know Info online

Every year since 1954, a small network of rich and powerful people have held a discussion meeting about the state of the trans-Atlantic alliance and the problems facing Europe and the US.  Organised by a steering committee of two people from each of about 18 countries, the Bilderberg Group (named after the Dutch hotel in which it held its first meeting) brings together about 120 leading business people and politicians.

At this years meeting in Germany, the audience included the heads of the World Bank and European Central Bank, Chairmen or Chief Executives from Nokia, BP, Unilever, DaimlerChrysler and Pepsi  among other multinational corporations, editors from five major newspapers, members of parliament, ministers, European commissioners, the crown prince of Belgium and the queen of the Netherlands.  BBC online news 29th September 2005, cited Want to Know Info online

The secretive Bilderberg Group gathers for its annual meeting this week, which is taking place in Montreux, Switzerland.

A collective of elite North American and European politicians, business leaders, financiers and academics, the group has attracted a good deal of suspicion over the last half-century, with conspiracy theorists confidently asserting that its members are plotting the New World Order and are hell-bent on global domination.

Protesters who believe the Bilderbergers represent a shadow world government regularly picket their yearly meet-ups, creating a need for high security at all times, but attendees insist the group is simply a debating society taking place outside the glare of the political spotlight.

The group publishes its guest list the day before its annual get together – between 120 and 150 are invited by its steering committee – along with a list of the subjects they intend to discuss as a gesture towards transparency.  This typically consists of broad issues like macroeconomic concerns, the threat of terrorism and cyber-security.

No minutes are taken, however, and the outcome of their discussions are not made public, hence the assumption that they are a sinister cabal of the rich and powerful with something to hide.

The Bilderberg Group take their name from the Hotel de Bilderberg in Oosterbeek, the Netherlands, where its members first convened on 29 May 1954 at the invitation of Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld.

Its founders – including exiled Polish politician Jozef Retinger, ex-Belgian prime minister Paul van Zeeland and Paul Rijkens, former head of consumer goods giant Unilever – were concerned about a prevailing atmosphere of anti-American sentiment in post-war Europe in a moment when the US was enjoying a consumer boom while holding the fate of the recovering continent in its hands through the Marshall Plan.

The group hoped to revive a spirit of transatlantic brotherhood based on political, economic and military cooperation, necessary during the Cold War as the USSR tightened its iron grip on its eastern satellites.  The Independent online article May 2019 Joe Summerlad, ‘What is the Bilderberg Group and are its members really plotting the New World Order?’

Since its inaugural Meeting in 1954, the Bilderberg Meeting has been an annual forum for informal discussions, designed to foster dialogue between Europe and North America.  Every year, approx 130 political leaders and experts from industry, finance, labour, academia and the media are invited to take part in the Meeting.  About two thirds of the participants come from Europe and the rest from North America; one third from politics and government and the rest from other fields.  The Meeting is a forum for informal discussions about major issues.  The Meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule, which states that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) nor of any other participant may be revealed.  Thanks to the private nature of the Meeting, the participants take part as individuals rather than in any official capacity, and hence are not bound by the conventions of their office or by pre-agreed positions.  As such, they can take time to listen, reflect and gather insights.  There is no detailed agenda, no resolutions are proposed, no votes are taken, and no policy statements are issued.  Bilderberg Meetings online: The Official Website front article

Bern, Switzerland  Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is on a weeklong trip to Europe where he is raising sensitive issues with national leaders  from Iranian missiles to Chinese technology to the economic collapse of Venezuela  but the most colorful conversations could take place this weekend out of public earshot in a secretive conclave at a Swiss lakeside resort.

In Montreux, on the eastern shore of Lake Geneva, political and business leaders from Western nations are gathering for the 67th Bilderberg Meeting, an annual forum in which participants agree not to reveal exactly what was said or who said it.  It is a shadow version of Davos, the elite annual winter conference in the Swiss Alps that President Trump has attended once but has also criticized.

The State Department has not even put the Bilderberg Meeting on Mr Pompeo’s public schedule, though a senior official confirmed he was attending Saturday.

Mr Pompeo landed in Zurich on Friday afternoon after a morning of meetings with German leaders in Berlin, then took a helicopter to Bern, where he spoke at a gathering of department employees at the United States Embassy.  Mr Pompeo was traveling with his wife, Susan.  The New York Times online article 31 May 2019 Wong & Yuhas, ‘Secretive Bilderberg Meeting Draws Pompeo & Kushner’

It may not be the new world order conspiracy theorists imagine, but Bilderberg is still one of the most influential groups in the world: A secretive group of some of the world’s top politicians, bankers and businessmen met today for its 67th annual conference.  Since its inaugural meeting in May 1954, the Bilderberg Group has been an annual forum for elites from Europe and North America to discuss important issues away from the eyes and ears of the press.

According to the group’s website, Every year, between 120-140 political leaders and experts from industry, finance, labor, academia and the media are invited to take part in the meeting.  About two thirds of the participants come from Europe and the rest from North America; approximately a quarter from politics and government and the rest from other fields.  This year’s meeting in Montreux, Switzerland, lasts from May 30 to June 2.

According to a press release, topics for discussion include China, Russia, Brexit, the future of Europe, climate change, the future of capitalism, the weaponization of social media, the importance of space, the development of artificial intelligence, and the danger of cyberthreats.

The chairman of Bilderberg 2019 is Henri de Castries, a French count and retired insurance tycoon. Other noteworthy guests include German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen, French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, former European Commission President José Manuel Barroso, United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, senior White House adviser Jared Kushner, Google chief Jared Cohen and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.

The meetings are held under Chatham House Rules, meaning participants may use the information that is presented, but they may not reveal the identity of the speaker.

Due to the secrecy surrounding Bilderberg discussions, the conference has become a popular target of conspiracy theorists claiming that Bilderberg members secretly work with the Illuminati, the Freemasons or a secret cabal of shape-shifting lizards founded by the ancient Babylonian sorceress Semiramis.
