On November 6th 2011 Julia Biryukova ran out of gas on the way to a Seattle area hospital with her son Sky Metalwala.  Leaving him strapped into his car seat in the back, she walked a mile and a half to a gas station where she did not buy gas but instead called a friend to come and pick her up.  When they got back to the car about an hour later Sky was gone.  He’s never been seen again … Police later learned the car had plenty of gas … The entire incident was very similar to a Law & Order SVU episode from the night before.  But Julia has never been charged.  True Crime Recaps: Law & Order Inspired Cold Case, Youtube 28.58, 2021
