23rd January 1978, Sacramento, USA: David Walin came home from work to find his wife brutally murdered in her bedroom.  22-year-old Theresa was three months pregnant … ‘She was shot three times with a .22 … and some horrible things done to that woman’ … Even experienced police officers had never seen anything like it.  The blood-drinking killer was 27-year-old Richard Chase, who would go on to be known as the vampire of Sacramento.  Within a month he randomly slaughtered six people including two children.  World’s Most Evil Killers: Richard Chase: The Vampire of Sacramento, Sky Crime 2020
