The secret of Gutenberg’s printing press was his ability to mass-produce copies of each individual letter.  And in this he had a hidden advantage: ‘the letters of the alphabet are really simple shapes … These simple block-like letters can become blocks of metal and can become printed.’  ibid.  expert

In 1939 on the eve of the Second World War Albert Einstein wrote a letter to the American president Franklin Roosevelt.  The letter was about an application of Einstein’s famous equation: E=MC².  And his fear that the Nazis could use it to build an atomic bomb.  Horizon: Einstein’s Equation of Life and Death, BBC 2005  

 

 

And it comes with a mysterious stalker calling themselves The Watcher.  Now this person claims to be part of a family who’s been watching and the people in it for more than a hundred and fifty years.  When the house was sold to a young family with three kids The Watcher sent them ominous letters warning them against making renovations.  True Crime Recaps: The Watcher House  Who Did It?
