★ Secret Societies

One of the most popular secret societies in Victorian London was the Golden Dawn.  Amongst its membership taking part in magical ceremonies was the author Bram Stoker.  His most famous novel is Dracula.  Chris Everard, Illuminati III

The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn was established on March 1st 1888.  Its founders ... were all Rosicrucian Freemasons.  The Golden Dawn was a depository of occult knowledge.  Aleister Crowley joined after attending Trinity College; other members included W B Yeats, and the author of Dracula, Mr Bram Stoker.  The Golden Dawn invoked spirits using magical techniques taken from Dr John Dees Enochian System of Magic, and became the main magical secret society for British aristocrats and royalty.  The Golden Dawn was heavily influenced by the writings of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky.  Chris Everard, Spirit World I

The highest secret of the Hebrew Kabbalah, Aleister Crowleys Ordo Templi Orientis, and L Ron Hubbards Scientology cult is that magical ritual can be used to contact not only angels and demons but also the spirits of extraterrestrials who inhabit other parts of the universe.  Chris Everard, Spirit World II

The European aristocratic families since the time of the Roman empire and just before then have manipulated politics from behind the scenes using a whole network of secret societies, and cults such as the Skull & Bones at Yale.  Chris Everard, interview Outside the Box 19th June 2008

On the 20th July 1785 the courier of the Illuminati Jakob Lanz who worked as a priest was struck by lightning near Rathenberg in Bavaria and died.  He had sown a list of Illuminati members and some compromising papers into his priest’s robe.  The local police found other important documents at Lanz’s house including detailed instructions for the coming French Revolution.  Some of the papers were addressed to the Grand Master of the Grand Orient in Paris.  Everything was handed over to the Bavarian government and on the 4th August 1785 a ban on secret societies was issued.  Juri Lina, The Lightbringers: The Emissaries of Jahbulon

Do you realise sufficiently what it means to rule – to rule in a secret society?  Not only over the lesser or more important of the populus, but over the best of men, over men of all ranks, nations and religions.  Adam Weishaupt

Briefly, the background of the Bavarian Illuminati puzzle is this.  On May 1, 1776, in Bavaria, Dr Adam Weishaupt, a professor of Canon Law at Ingolstadt University and a former Jesuit, formed a secret society called the Order of the Illuminati within the existing Masonic lodges of Germany.  Since Masonry is itself a secret society, the Illuminati was a secret society within a secret society, a mystery inside a mystery, so to say.  In 1785 the Illuminati were suppressed by the Bavarian government for allegedly plotting to overthrow all the kings in Europe and the Pope t’boot.  This much is generally agreed upon by all historians.  Robert Anton Wilson, Cosmic Trigger: Final Secrets of the Illuminati p1

I think we have got cabals of people who are trying to steer the world in the wrong direction ... What weve got are criminal gangs taking control of the state, using financial and military manipulations.  Martin Summers, On the Edge with Theo Chalmers and Tony Gosling

I became a member of the Secret Seven.  It’s so secret I don’t even know who the other six are.  Tommy Cooper

Wherever a man goes, men will pursue him and paw him with their dirty institutions, and, if they can, constrain him to belong to their desperate oddfellow society.  Henry David Thoreau, Walden, 1854

Regarding these same secret and powerful forces Benjamin Disraeli, the English statesman, gave testimony in the British House of Commons on July 14th 1856.  On that occasion he said: ‘There is in Italy a power which we seldom mention in this House ... I mean the secret societies ... It is useless to deny, because it is impossible to conceal that a great part of Europe ... is covered with a network of these secret societies.’  Reverend Clarence Kelly, Conspiracy Against God and Man

Side by side with the international politics of each state, there exists certain obscure organisations of international politics ... The men that take part in these councils are not the professional politicians, or the brilliantly dressed ambassadors, but certain unpretentious, unknown men, high financiers, who are superior to the vain ephemeral politicians who imagine that they govern the world.  Dr Gerard Encausse, French Occultist magazine April 1914

Beneath the broad tide of human history there flow the stealthy undercurrents of the secret societies which frequently determine in the depths the changes that take place upon the surface.  These societies have existed in all ages and among all nations, and tradition has invariably ascribed to them the possession of important knowledge in the religious, scientific or political order according to the various characters of their pretensions.  Arthur Edward Waite, The Real History of the Rosicrucians

On a Swiss mountain top armed guards protect a secret meeting of the world’s power elite.  At Yale University the scions of America’s first families confess their sexual exploits from a gruesome coffin.  In a smoke-filled room a handful of powerbrokers manipulate the global economy.  These are the purported activities of some of America’s secret societies.  Secret Societies, History 2001

In 1954 Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands invited a group of Western European and North American leaders to a weekend conference at the Hotel Bilderberg in Oosterbeck Holland.  The meeting is held in secret and they decide to make the conference an annual private retreat which continues to this day.  ibid.

They have secret rituals behind closed doors.  And they enlisted certain others in their conspiracy.  Their plan was to demolish the majority of the population, and to bring man back to a savage wild state.  So it was really a Satanic thing.  These men funded Adolf Hitler.  Texe Marrs

The Illuminati is a secret society within a secret society.  They have the age-old dream of controlling the world.  Jim Marrs, Illuminati, Our Secret Masters

There are literally hundreds of top-level very powerful people who are at the inner core of these secret societies.  Jim Marrs

The actions that these secret societies have promulgated through the last century or so have led to wars, rebellion, dissension, depressions.  Jim Marrs

The Bilderbergers are the most secretive of the modern secret societies.  It’s so secretive they don’t even have a name much less publish a membership list or anything like that.  Now, some of the members are known because they’ve been observed at their meetings, and some of the members have talked and mentioned some people.  So we do have an idea of who attends the Bilderberg meetings, which are heavily under guard, heavily secret.  Jim Marrs, interview the History Channel

This is where the ruling elite within these secret societies go and gather and compare notes.  And apparently set agendas.  ibid.

The Bilderbergers are the ruling elite of the other secret societies.  Jim Marrs

The Bilderberg Group, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission have an inter-locking leadership.  The Head of the World Bank, James Wolfensohn, is a member of this network.  So is the head of the World Trade Organisation.  So is the Chancellor of Germany.  So is the prime minister of Britain, Tony Blair.  A stream of presidents of the United States, secretaries of state, the last six Secretaries-General of Nato.  David Icke

The agenda of all secret societies that have a negative impact is to rule the masses so that the masses become slaves.  Jon Rappoport, no more fake news online

Fifty men have run America and that’s a high figure.  Joseph P Kennedy

The very word ‘secrecy’ is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings.  John F Kennedy, April 1961

For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence – on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day.  It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.  Its preparations are concealed, not published.  Its mistakes are buried, not headlined.  Its dissenters are silenced not praised.  No expenditure is questioned, no rumour is printed, no secret is revealed.  ibid.

Secrecy is the freedom zealot’s dream of no watchman to check the door, no accountant to check the books, no judge to check the law.   The Secret Government has no constitution.  The rules it follows are the rules it makes up.  Bill Moyers

Secret societies have been around almost as long as man.  The early Christians for instance were a secretive cult themselves, undermining the government of Church and State.  They adhered to secret forms of communication, rituals and were regressive in their rise to power.  Philip Gardiner, Angels, Demons and Freemasons
