WISDOM: Wisdom 2:1-5 - Wisdom 12:3&4&8&23&27 - Wisdom 14:6 - Wisdom 16:16 -
For the ungodly said, reasoning with themselves, but not aright, Our life is short and tedious, and in the death of a man there is no remedy: neither was there any man known to have returned from the grave.
For we are born at all adventure: and we shall be hereafter as though we had never been: for the breath in our nostrils is as smoke, and a little spark in the moving of our heart:
Which being extinguished, our body shall be turned into ashes, and our spirit shall vanish as the soft air,
And our name shall be forgotten in time, and no man shall have our works in remembrance, and our life shall pass away as the trace of a cloud, and shall be dispersed as a mist, that is driven away with the beams of the sun, and overcome with the heat thereof.
For our time is a very shadow that passeth away; and after our end there is no returning: for it is fast sealed, so that no man cometh again. Wisdom 2:1-5
For it was thy will to destroy by the hands of our fathers both those old inhabitants of thy holy land,
Whom thou hatedst for doing most odious works of witchcrafts, and wicked sacrifices;
Nevertheless even those thou sparedst as men, and didst send wasps, forerunners of thine host, to destroy them by little and little.
Wherefore, whereas men have lived dissolutely and unrighteously, thou hast tormented them with their own abominations.
For, look, for what things they grudged, when they were punished, that is, for them whom they thought to be gods; [now] being punished in them, when they saw it, they acknowledged him to be the true God, whom before they denied to know: and therefore came extreme damnation upon them. Wisdom 12:3&4&8&23&27
For in the old time also, when the proud giants perished, the hope of the world governed by thy hand escaped in a weak vessel, and left to all ages a seed of generation. Wisdom 14:6
For the ungodly, that denied to know thee, were scourged by the strength of thine arm: with strange rains, hails, and showers, were they persecuted, that they could not avoid, and through fire were they consumed. Wisdom 16:16
SIRACH/ECCLESIASTICUS: Sirach/Ecclesiasticus 1:1 - Sirach/Ecclesiasticus 48:1-3 -
All wisdom cometh from the Lord, and is with him for ever.
Wisdom hath been created before all things, and the understanding of prudence from everlasting.
The word of God most high is the fountain of wisdom; and her ways are everlasting commandments.
To fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and it was created with the faithful in the womb.
The fear of the Lord is a crown of wisdom, making peace and perfect health to flourish; both which are the gifts of God: and it enlargeth their rejoicing that love him.
Wisdom raineth down skill and knowledge of understanding standing, and exalteth them to honour that hold her fast. Sirach/Ecclesiasticus 1:1&4&5&14&18&19
Then stood up Elias the prophet as fire, and his word burned like a lamp.
He brought a sore famine upon them, and by his zeal he diminished their number.
By the word of the Lord he shut up the heaven, and also three times brought down fire. Sirach/Ecclesiasticus 48:1-3

And these are the words of the book, which Baruch the son of Nerias, the son of Maasias, the son of Sedecias, the son of Asadias, the son of Chelcias, wrote in Babylon,
In the fifth year, and in the seventh day of the month, what time as the Chaldeans took Jerusalem, and burnt it with fire. Baruch 1:1&2
Therefore the Lord hath made good his word, which he pronounced against us, and against our judges that judged Israel, and against our kings, and against our princes, and against the men of Israel and Juda,
To bring upon us great plagues, such as never happened under the whole heaven, as it came to pass in Jerusalem, according to the things that were written in the law of Moses;
For all these plagues are come upon us, which the Lord hath pronounced against us. Baruch 2:1&2&7
And the angel said, ‘Rightly you ask; when God caused the Flood over the earth and destroyed all flesh and 409,000 giants, and the water rose over the heights 15 cubits, the water entered Paradise and killed every flower, but it removed the sprig of the vine completely and brought it outside.’ Baruch 3:4:10
There were the giants famous from the beginning, that were of so great stature, and so expert in war.
Those did not the Lord choose, neither gave he the way of knowledge unto them:
But they were destroyed, because they had no wisdom, and perished through their own foolishness. Baruch 3:26-28

A copy of an epistle, which Jeremy sent unto them which were to be led captives into Babylon by the king of the Babylonians, to certify them, as it was commanded him of God.

And they walked in the midst of the fire, praising God, and blessing the Lord.
Then Azarias stood up, and prayed on this manner; and opening his mouth in the midst of the fire said,
Blessed art thou, O Lord God of our fathers: thy name is worthy to be praised and glorified for evermore: Prayer of Azariah 1:1-3
Wherefore all that thou hast brought upon us, and every thing that thou hast done to us, thou hast done in true judgment.
And thou didst deliver us into the hands of lawless enemies, most hateful forsakers of God, and to an unjust king, and the most wicked in all the world. Prayer of Azariah 1:8&9
BEL and the DRAGON: Bel and the Dragon 1:1-3&14&15 -
And king Astyages was gathered to his fathers, and Cyrus of Persia received his kingdom.
And Daniel conversed with the king, and was honoured above all his friends.
Now the Babylons had an idol, called Bel, and there were spent upon him every day twelve great measures of fine flour, and forty sheep, and six vessels of wine.
So when they were gone forth, the king set meats before Bel. Now Daniel had commanded his servants to bring ashes, and those they strewed throughout all the temple in the presence of the king alone: then went they out, and shut the door, and sealed it with the king's signet, and so departed.
Now in the night came the priests with their wives and children, as they were wont to do, and did eat and drinck up all. Bel and the Dragon 1:1-3&14&15

And behold they commit sin and transgress the law, and have united themselves with women and commit sin with them, and have married some of them, and have begot children by them.
And they shall produce on the earth giants not according to the spirit, but according to the flesh, and there shall be a great punishment on the earth, and the earth shall be cleansed from all impurity. Yea, there shall come a great destruction over the whole earth, and there shall be a deluge and
