★ Oak Island (I)

‘We expected to find gold and silver and we didn’t.  So are we disappointed?  Damn right we’re disappointed.’  ibid.  Marty

Lot 8: Marty and Gary unearthed a large chain-like object as well as part of a suspected engine tool.  The Curse of Oak Island s9e20: The Hedden Truth

A highly anticipated dive operation with Tony Sampson [diver] and renowned underwater archaeologist, Dr Lee Spence … The scans identified a number of compelling anomalies.  ibid.

Where to excavate a fourth and final steel-caissed shaft this year in the hope of recovering the treasure.  ibid.

The team are currently excavating a ten-foot-diameter shaft in the Money Pit area known as DMT2.  The Curse of Oak Island s9e21: A Lot of Secrets

Lot 8: The team have now dug to the five-foot limit … a man-made paved feature and a huge artificially placed boulder.  ibid.

DM2T has now cut into ancient man-made workings.  ibid.

Due to a number of recent discoveries and developments Lot 8 has now become a critical zone of interest for the team.  The Curse of Oak Island s9e22: Yes We Can

With only three weeks left before all search operations need to stop until next spring, they’re in the Money Pit area excavating their fifth ten-foot-wide steel-caissed shaft of the year.  The Curse of Oak Island s9e23: Follow the Cobblestone Road

Rick and the team are here [Portugal] to investigate potential clues.  ibid.

The anticipation for a potentially historic breakthrough discovery in the Money Pit area has never been higher.  The Curse of Oak Island s9e24: On the Road

Numerous [Portuguese] carvings matching those reportedly found on historic Oak Island artefacts.  The Curse of Oak Island s9e25: Treasure Island

The preparations for one of the most promising sub-surface scans ever conducted in order to solve the Oak Island mystery: the Muon programme.  ibid.

‘It could be we’re close to an offset chamber that holds the treasure.’  The Curse of Oak Island s10e1: On Their Marks, Marty, History 2023

Dr Spooner believes he can determine the direction of water flow deep underground in the money pit area.  ibid.

A tunnel more than a hundred feet underground that may be connected to the original money pit [Garden Tunnel].  ibid.

They hope to once again penetrate a five-foot-high wooden tunnel at a depth of 103 feet which they explored with a camera last week.  Wood samples from the tunnel have been carbon dated to as early as 1640.  The Curse of Oak Island s10e2: Across the Pond

‘The symbology in Royston [UK] cave’ … A stronghold for the Knights Templar between the twelfth and fourteenth century.  ibid.

Today they are drilling a new borehole at the fabled money pit area attempting to pentrate a 5-foot-tall wood tunnel, 103-feet deep.  The Curse of Oak Island s10e3: Bubbling Over

Since encountering a mysterious ten-foot void at a depth of 55-feet yesterday, the team has decided to keep drilling below the 100-foot level.  ibid.

The Oak Island team has just noticed mysterious bubbling in the water that fills the nearby garden shaft.  ibid.

To begin rebuilding the Garden Shaft … The ten-by-ten-foot diametre garden shaft was uncovered by the team back in 2017.  The Curse of Oak Island s10e4: Wharf & Pieces

‘There’s the anomoly on Lot 30.  It’s right in here - it’s about a hundred by a hundred and fifty feet.’  ibid.  Steve’s presentation of Lidar images

Lot 32: A larger excavation where Gary and Jack have found new compelling evidence of an ancient wharf some 200 years from the remains of a potential encampment on Lot 30.  ibid.

Over the next six weeks the team from Dumas will constuct a concrete foundation around the top of the existing [garden] shaft …. to drain, excavate and refurbish the old eight-foot structure.  The Curse of Oak Island s10e5: Duc it Out

‘1745: The largest armada to sail from France to the Atlantic coast.’  ibid.  researcher

Garden Shaft: Wood samples collected from the bottom of the feature have recently been dated to 1735.  The Curse of Oak Island s10e6: Over the Muon

In recent weeks the Oak Island team has encountered the same 5-foot high tunnel at a depth of 103 feet in 4 different boreholes, and believe it could be leading them in the direction of the garden shaft.  ibid.

The team hope to find out if there could be two man-mad tunnels between 99 and 108 feet deep that lead toward the garden shaft.  ibid.

‘We are not going to be able to use it [Garden shaft] as a tool to help resolve the mystery.’  The Curse of Oak Island s10e7: Norsing Around

Has the team potentially found more evidence that the swamp could contain the wreak of a centuries-old treasure galleon?  ibid.

This made Fred speculate that the swamp may have been artificially created in order to hide the wreak of a ship with valuable cargo.  The Curse of Oak Island s10e8: A Lot to be Desired

In the Money Pit area where they are preparing to conduct a sonar scanning operation in borehole L15.  ibid.

Could it mean they have possibly discovered a man-made tunnel approximately 150 feet below ground in the Money Pit area?  ibid.

‘We have managed to purchase Lot 5.’  ibid.  Marty

A 5-foot-high wood-crypt tunnel which they’ve encountered at five separate drilling locations at a depth of 103 feet.   The Curse of Oak Island s10e9: A Damming Clue

Numerous anomalies running in a linear pattern between 3 and 8 feet deep just north of the swamp.  Could this be the evidence needed to support Fred Nolan’s theory regarding a potential man-made dam?  ibid.

‘The garden shaft stands a chance of being the Money Pit.’  The Curse of Oak Island s10e10: The Blob

‘Follow the gold.  And to chasing that gold from where it’s coming from.  I want to chase it.’  ibid.  Marty

The team have also obtained [water] trace evidence of gold in various concentrations from a number of boreholes in close proximity to the garden shaft area.  ibid.

Lot 5 flags: Another potentially ancient tool … What were they doing in the middle of Oak Island?  ibid.

18th century English pottery dating back more than fifty years prior to the discovery of the Money Pit … inc Delftware.  ibid.

The team are making their first attempt to pinpoint the fabled riches in borehole CN-11 … dead centre in the treasure zone.  The Curse of Oak Island s10e11: Oh Well!

Continue investigating a mysterious man-mad stone foundation on Lot 5.  ibid.

The water samples taken from a mysterious well on Lot 26 reveal trace evidence of possible treasure.  ibid.

Currently the team are drilling a borehole known as DN-13.5 which is located fourteen feet west of the garden shaft in an area that’s recently been dubbed The Blob.  The Curse of Oak Island s10e12: Beware the Blob

Lot 26: A methodical investigation of a mysterious stone well.  ibid.

After a six week delay, representatives from mining company Dumas have returned in order to continue refurbishing the garden shaft.  The Curse of Oak Island s10e13: All’s Well

‘Lot 26: The well is as old as the eleventh century.  What do I do with that?’  ibid.  Marty
